Alliance of Chinese Conservatives Delegation’s Visit to Ottawa
President and Vice Presidents of the Alliance of Chinese Conservatives Attend MP Swearing-In Ceremonies and Participate in Community Engagement Activities in Ottawa
Ottawa, May 23 and 25, 2025 — James Yu, President of Alliance of Chinese Conservatives , along with Vice Presidents Cindy Huang and Colin Wang, attended the swearing-in ceremonies of Members of Parliament Costas Menegakis and Chak Au. The ceremonies were held at the Parliament Hill in a solemn yet warm atmosphere.
During their stay in Ottawa, the three representatives also took part in local roundtable discussions, engaging with community members and volunteers. They shared their experiences, listened to voices from various sectors, and exchanged ideas on topics such as how to better serve the Chinese Canadian community, strengthen communication channels, build consensus, and advance key community concerns.
James Yu remarked, “It has been truly inspiring to come to Ottawa and engage in meaningful conversations with people from all walks of life. Their passion and dedication to community issues are deeply motivating.”
During the visit, the delegation also had face-to-face discussions with local Chinese Canadians about the most pressing issues they wish to see improved in their daily lives. The open dialogue fostered mutual understanding, strengthened solidarity, and reinforced a shared commitment to building a more livable and inclusive community.
