ABOUT THE ALLIANCE OF CHINESE CONSERVATIVES

The Alliance of Chinese Conservatives (AOCC) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) in Canada, firmly rooted in conservative principles. AOCC is committed to uniting the Chinese Canadian community in Canada, safeguarding traditional values, and advancing the ideals of liberty, personal responsibility, and community prosperity.

Through strategic initiatives such as election support campaigns, a cross-regional network fostering Chinese Canadian collaboration, regular forums and lectures, policy-driven think tank research, foundation support, and an independent media platform, AOCC strives to amplify conservative voices within the community. By building a robust and influential coalition, AOCC aims to serve as a leading advocate for conservatism, promoting unity and impactful change.

ABOUT THE ADVISORY BOARD

  • Hon. Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay is a Canadian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the electoral district of South Surrey—White Rock from 2019 to 2025, and previously represented the electoral district of Delta—Richmond East in the House of Commons from 2011 to 2015. A member of the Conservative Party, during the party's time in government under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, she served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice, Associate Minister of National Defence, and Minister of National Revenue.

    She was re-elected in 2021 and served as the Shadow Minister for National Defence from November 2021 to October 2022. On September 13, 2022, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre appointed her as the Chief Opposition Whip, making her the first woman in the history of the Conservative Party to hold this position.

  • Dr. Ronald Leung immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 1983 and holds a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Simon Fraser University (SFU). Leveraging his academic background and keen insight into social issues, he joined Fairchild Radio (加拿大中文電台 - Canadian Chinese Radio) as a professional current affairs commentator. He hosted several popular current affairs commentary programs, gaining widespread recognition for his in-depth analysis and unique perspectives.

    In 2005, Dr. Leung entered politics and became actively involved in public affairs. He served as a Senior Regional Advisor in the Office of the federal Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism of Canada, dedicated to promoting multicultural policies and community development. Additionally, he twice represented the Conservative Party of Canada as a candidate for Federal Member of Parliament in a Burnaby electoral district, demonstrating his passion and commitment to public service.

    Dr. Ronald Leung is highly regarded for his professional expertise, community involvement, and contributions to multiculturalism, enjoying a strong reputation within the Canadian Chinese community and in political circles.
