AOCC Statement Congratulating the Honourable Kerry-Lynne Findlay on Her Election as Leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia

On May 30, 2026, the results of the British Columbia Conservative Party leadership election were announced. The Hon. Kerry-Lynne Findlay, who serves as Chair of the AOCC Advisory Board, was successfully elected as the new Party Leader, marking a smooth leadership transition and the beginning of a new chapter for the BC Conservatives. The Alliance of Chinese Conservatives(AOCC) extends its warmest congratulations on this significant achievement.

Honourable Findlay brings extensive federal cabinet experience and a distinguished legal background to her new role. As Chair of the AOCC Advisory Council, she has long been dedicated to building a strong bridge between conservative principles and the Chinese Canadian community. Her election injects a powerful voice of common sense and principled leadership into British Columbia’s political landscape.

At a time when British Columbia faces serious challenges in public safety, economic affordability, and social order, voters across the province have long yearned for a return to normalcy, reason, and effective governance. AOCC firmly believes that under Leader Findlay’s outstanding leadership, the Conservative Party of BC will unite British Columbians from all walks of life and defeat the current NDP government in the next provincial election. We are confident that her leadership can help restore prosperity, strengthen the rule of law, and foster a healthier and more vibrant society across the province.

AOCC will continue to stand firmly alongside Leader Findlay, fully supporting grassroots mobilization and election efforts as we work together toward victory in the next provincial election and a brighter future for British Columbia.
